Crisp Clear Color

Bright crisp clear color can really brighten my day and these towels are just the ticket.  With all the arctic cold, snow flurries and ice I felt like I needed to brighten my outlook on life.  These taquette towels were a joy to weave leaving me feeling upbeat and cheerful whenever I sat down to weave them.

Happy Weaving!

  1. That is gorgeous! Is it a public domain draft? I have a 4-shaft loom and lots of gorgeous colors in 8/2 cotton. Would love to try this.

  2. Hi Dee, thank you for the compliment. The draft is fairly easy to find in many weaving sources, it uses 8 shafts.

  3. What a gloriously welcome shot of Spring color!! I am working with jewel toned silks for the reason - beat the Winter blahs. Have I mentioned I dislike grey - grey skies, grey snow, grey air, grey mood...
    Love the towels
