While trying to sell a house along with traveling out of state to look for and purchase a new house I did manage to get two warps woven. This 8 yard warp of cotlin I call the "Scottish Heather Series" of towels it was a joy to weave. Seven towels are complete and ready for my Etsy shop's reopening in April.
My camera has difficulty with the bright fiesta oranges, pinks and reds - the picture is a bit off. This colorful 12 yard cotlin warp yielded 11 finished rainbow block towels. They too will be posted in my Etsy shop in April.
Whew, two warps completed while on the run and I have a few more days to try and get a small warp on one of the looms before the moving company arrives to pack us out.
Speaking of looms, I am the very proud owner of a B5 Macomber - she has 4 harnesses with room for 6 more. I have long wanted a Macomber loom and I am just delighted to have finally found one to call my own. No worries, fellow weavers she is a keeper - I won't be selling her off to the highest bidder. Did I mention I love her - I LOVE HER!
Need to get back to the loom.
